I work in the sciences and am wondering about positions for scientists in missions. How can someone use their training as a chemist, biologist, or pharmacist as part of a ministry overseas?

“You could teach science in an international school.”

If you have teaching credentials or experience (or are willing to pursue them), you might be able to continue pursuing and sharing your love of the sciences with students in an international school setting. These schools often educate the children of expats who work in business, NGOs, or mission jobs as well as local students who want to be educated in English (or another global language).

A good place to start in exploring the options and requirements is TeachNext.
