“That will take some digging!”
his information is sensitive in nature so you will find limited information publicly available. If you would like to work with such groups or individuals, you will have to play detective.
For example, say you want to join those helping the underground church in China. First, where did you hear about the underground church in China? Trace those comments backwards. Who is talking or writing about the underground church in China? They almost always have contacts within the underground church.
Second, which agencies are working there? Believe it or not, if you do a search on the words “mission agencies China” you are going to get pages of links to organizations who work in China or have worked in China or desire to work in China. Who sends short term groups to China? Who sends English teachers to China? Do you know anyone who has gone to China or goes to China regularly? Some among these many will have contacts to the underground church or at least know where to refer you.
Third, don’t be surprised when agencies and missionaries ask you why you want to know. You are asking for information that can cause believers great harm, even cost them their lives. People will want to know you and your heart before they will share more than general information. Ask God to give you the contacts you need to do what he wants you to do.
